You do not have to be a 'believer' for Feng Shui to 'work'! Your choice of environment is a natural expression of your current life situation. Much like the way pets often uncannily look or behave like their owners, your chosen surroundings tell a story or mirror something about you. Does your home have a welcoming and happy face or is your
home hard to find and hence opportunity can't find you? Although you may not be practising Feng Shui as a doctrine it is certainly possible to read the patterns around you. Correlations to health, personal development and prosperity can be revealed. Improving your environment should naturally improve your wellbeing. However making a Feng Shui adjustment while harbouring a strong objection to making a change does undermine the positive intent. Hence Feng Shui is a consultative and collaborative process to identify your needs, and meeting them takes into account your cultural, stylistic and budgetary preferences. Part of the art of Feng Shui is that it should not appear unnatural or 'Feng shui-ed' with items that you feel are totally inappropriate or have no resonance with. For example it you do not have to place Asian artefacts in your home to attract good Feng Shui. Whilst it is not necessary to understand the workings of a remedy for it to be effective it is helpful to apply a recommendation with positivity and as beautifully as possible.
